Shellie Kosmerchock
My name is Mrs. Shellie Kosmerchock, and I am excited to be called to serve at Celebration Lutheran School as the 4th and 5th grade homeroom teacher! I am thrilled to be teaching Social Studies to the 4th through 8th grade students and technology to the 1st through 8th grade students – two of my favorite subjects!
I have been in the ministry for over 26 years serving in New York, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Nebraska, Ohio, and now full circle back to Wisconsin! Over the years, I have had the opportunity to teach a variety of grade levels from 2nd grade through high school in a variety of subjects including Religion, Language Arts, Psychology, Greek Mythology, Social Studies, Science, Math, Technology, and Choir, and a few that always finds a way into my schedule.
I have spent the past 12 years as an administrator, teaching as needed, so I am looking forward to being a classroom teacher full-time. I love sharing Jesus with God’s children, while helping them grow academically.
My husband, Joe, and I have two grown children. Jeremiah and family live in De Pere, and Jordan and his family lives in Jacksonville, FL where he serves as a Marine. Our greatest joy is spending time with our grandchildren.
I received my undergraduate degree from Concordia St. Paul in Secondary Education with a major in Social Studies, an emphasis in History and a Psychology minor. I believe it is important to grow as a teacher by continuing education. I received a Master’s in Education from Viterbo University in La Crosse, WI in 2005, and a Masters in Education in Administration from Concordia Seward in 2012.
I believe in Christian education, and I am thankful that my Lord’s plan has led be to Celebration Lutheran School. I believe that together we can do great things!
Blessings,
Mrs. Shellie Kosmerchock
